Rigid & fiberscopes from Henke Sass Wolf
A rigid scope has an multiple lens package and is often built up in the inner tube of a double-walled tube. The glass fiber light bundle and, if used, the device for the adjustable prism of a tilting prism scope are placed between the inner tube and the outer tube.Advantage is the pure and direct image through the fixed lens package.Available in various diameters, length, angle of view and (variable) viewing angle.
A fiberscope is build up from an optical fiber bundle and a light fiber bundle placed in a flexible and reinforced sleeve. This has the advantage that the fiberscope is more flexible than a rigid scope.Available in various diameters, working length, field of view and direction of view.
