Visual ultrasound cameras
Visual ultrasound is a type of imaging. It uses high-frequency sound waves in the object or material tested. Very short ultrasonic pulse-waves are transmitted into materials to detect internal flaws or to characterize materials. By combining multiple pulses from a grip of transducers it’s possible to create live 2D and 3D images with very high-resolution which makes it easier to analyze the images. Defects as delamination, insufficient bonding or other material issues can be detected and eliminated during the production- or repairprocess.
