Faster, more accurate, better. This is how Waygate Technologies describes the Everest Mentor Flex video borescope in three words. The large 5.8″ display and Multi-Point Gorilla® Glass touchscreen provides an easy and clear user interface. Thanks to the virtual keyboard, you are able to create new folders or add comments on images in seconds. The borescope is robust, has an ergonomic design – only 1 dual function joystick – and two trigger buttons on the back of the handle. Navigate through inspections thoroughly with the precise and powerful articulation provided by redesigned high-power steering motors.

Industry-leading light output
No other function determines the quality of the footage like light. Waygate Technologies has chosen to use the same white light LED technology as used in it’s high end video borescope, the Mentor Visual iQ. The software can also be expanded with the Probability of Detection package for even better quality images. These include the digital filters Dark Boost to brighten dark areas and Distortion Correction, to counteract the fish-eye effect when using wide-angle tip adapters.

The Everest Mentor Flex comes standard with Menu Directed Inspection (MDI). This reporting software guides inspectors digitally through the inspection process, auto-tagging of images, intelligently names files and generates MS Word® and PDF compliant inspection reports. This way inspectors can deliver consistent results with confidence.

For those who are also interested in collecting measurement data, there is a upgrade available for Stereo Measurement software. Practical examples include measuring the length of cracking (Length), depth of surface damage (Depth), missing blade corners (Point-to-Line), surface damage such as damaged coating (Area) and measure a scratch on a curved surface such as a bearing (Multi-Segment).

Always connected
Possibly you would prefer having a colleague, supervisor or customer watch during an inspection. In this case, wireless video streaming and transfer files is very easy. Just download the app which can be found on all iOS devices.

There are also new developments on the hardware side. This gives you even more flexibility during inspections when you use the latest accessories such as the backpack, telescopic pole, hook, magic arm, strap or kickstand.
